So like, yeah, we all know why you're here, you love the Regular Show. So all fistpumping and ooooohs aside, I do want to ask something that everyone has probly asked JG on his DA page.

How did they get away with certain phrases oh the show? Normally CN cracks down on ANY swears or vulgar, yet JG managed to get "Screwed", "Crap", and "How the H (Hell) to we fix this S (Shit)?".

I think there were more but like yeah, I'm amazed and I'm sure other are, at how these got through.

Oh right, "Don't look at our crotches while we synchronize our watches." was the one I was recalling. And Pissed, but eh, I shrug that one.

So yeah, do you think CN might FINALLY change for the better? Who knows.

Anyways, comment and ask whatever else here I guess, dudes. Later losers!

I love how you're stimulating some conversation in here!

LOL, me and Alek were just discussing this last night. He said that there was a law that expired or something. SO now they are allowed to use these words in their shows. I'm not sure if this is true though..

The drillbit in me says to stimulate it!

Also yeah, it's a possibility. I still like to imagine that like, someone kicked every CN staff member in the teeth and they said "OKAY FINE!"

Well I mean, if you think about it...these words that they are using aren't SO TERRIBLE. Kids use them all the time. Maybe they are finally realizing this? xD

MAYBE! Personally I love it, I was just like.. culture shocked or something by it, since [as] can't even use most swears without a censor and such it's like "Woah, SCREWED? On a normal CN show?!"

Yeah, seriously. The first time I encountered that was when me and my boyfriend were watching Adventure Time and they had to have said 'crotch' like four times. sdfgjd

I was just like WAT.

Well these shows are rated TV-PG... not that much of a big deal. CN's been doing this stuff for a while (Heck! in 2003 they showed movies with words like "damn")

i think they're slowly adjusting to bridging the gap between daytime CN and adult swim (they're only counted as separate networks is cus of the gap in demographics. 6-11 by day 18+ by night)

What he said. CN's target audience is supposed to be 6-11. Adult swim has 18+

So primetime should have the 12-17 slot.

Luckily us in the 18+ slot can still appreciate it (:

Also, the word of the day is "crotch"

CN censors are dead, at least for prime-time shows, which is awesome.

I first started hearing words like this, on Cartoon Network, in the Total Drama series. Granted, some of the words and phrases were censored, but the element was still there. As time has gone on, Cartoon Network's original shows (the Total Drama series was produced in Canada, so it doesn't count) have adapted this trend of more "coarse language."
