WHERE THE H DO THEY LIVE?

Seriously, this has been bugging me ever since the question first popped into my mind.

It's not just the city, or the climate, or the appearance that makes me wonder. It's the fact that Eldritch Abominations infest this town like vampires infest a goth kid's imagination. All of these..things, these weird things keep happening, and no major investigation happens. Some, like Skips, are even EXPERIENCED with some of the phenomena that goes on.

My theory? They live in the town from that old anime, FLCL.
